Soheil Jamshidi, MDCM, FRCSC, joined our group after two years at a tertiary care referral center and teaching hospital in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He has amassed a broad surgical exposure and is eager to use his skills to help the North Atlanta community.
After growing up in Hamilton, Ontario and earning a Bachelor's Degree from McMaster University, Dr. Jamshidi went on to earn his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada before pursuing his integrated vascular residency training in the French language hospitals of the Université de Montreal. Dr. Jamshidi then joined the Université de Sherbrooke department of Vascular Surgery as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon while also taking on teaching duties for medical students and residents as a Clinical Teaching Professor.
Dr. Jamshidi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, from whom he holds a Specialist Certificate in Vascular Surgery. He is a member of the Quebec Medical Association and the Association of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons of Quebec.
His areas of interest include Open aortic repair, Endovascular aortic repair, Carotid disease, Hybrid peripheral revascularizations, Dialysis access Management and Peripheral arterial disease, Limb Salvage,Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Wound care. Even more impressive than his broad skills are Dr. Jamshidi's kindness and warm demeanor. With his diverse background, he is happy to serve his patients in English, French, or Farsi.
