Uthan Vivek, MD, FACS, is an experienced board-certified Surgeon providing vascular care in the Atlanta area at North Atlanta Vascular Clinic for 15 years. Dr. Vivek has a proven bedside manner and understands the importance of being transparent with his patients about their diagnosis and treatment options. He has been selected Top Doctor award consecutively for many years.
Dr Vivek earned both his medical and post graduate General Surgery degrees at Madras Medical College in Chennai, India. He then moved to the United Kingdom where he further training and was awarded the FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. Upon moving to the United States, he embarked on Residency training in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Centers and Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. After graduation, he elected to pursue his long term passion for Vascular Surgery. He then completed his fellowship in vascular with special interest in Endovascular surgery at Wayne State University, Michigan.
Dr. Vivek is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, American Medical Association, Society for Vascular Ultrasound,. the Georgia Vascular Surgery and the American Venous Forum. He’s a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons of England. He’s been honored by patients for his on-time appointments and compassion. He’s board-certified in General, vascular and endovascular surgery.
