Arteriogram

Artherectomy

This is a procedure that removes plaque from the inside of blood vessels. Atherectomy is done most often in major arteries, such as the coronary, carotid and vertebral arteries, that have experienced the occlusive effects of atherosclerosis.

Angioplasty and Stents

An angioplasty procedure is where the physician inflates a small balloon inside a narrowed vessel. Depending on the circumstances a stent may be inserted. The stent, a tiny metal mesh tube, supports your artery walls. this will ensure proper blood flow.
